Has anyone on the Left ever read the 28th Amendment? I stongly suggest everyone read it and that includes Obama, Reid, Pelosi and all members of Government that are involved in the Law Making Process. In other words. Congress must have the same brand of Healthcare, that is known as Obamacare, if the citizens are forced to take part.

I just got off of the phone with Citi. Everything you all have said just happened. Apparently I said No I don't want a 14.9% interest rate I want to keep my 5.9% last year. Now they have non-renewed my card for good and I never was told I'd be cancelled...not that we would want to stay with a rate like that. This is very shady and there has to be something that can be done legally?

It is such a buzzword these days. Green. I'm not so sure any of these manufacturers know what it actually means. The closest car company to get to being green in my opinion has to be Subaru. They have a plant in Indian, near where I live, that produces 0 waste! Every piece of waste that may be created is reused in some way and they are working to start using more green energy to fuel the plant. Very good stuff going on there. They simply follow the goldenrule and do what they would want others doing for them.

300 Million in penalities for manipulating the market? Hmmm... I've got an idea. Let's take the penalties that the oil companies pay for things like this and invest it into renewable energy infrastructure. Oh, oh... I have a better idea. How about we tax them and use that money to create solar/wind infrastructure. I suppose that would make too much sense. I wonder if renewable energy has any hope against these oil giants when they have budgets like $200M to convince the American public that they are doing the right things. I'm sure the gulf spill will quickly dwindle in the public eye and BP will be back to making huge profits.

Anne - the correct stock exchange ticker symbol for Altria, whose story this is, is "MO", not "PM".
