...provide the plaintiff's lawyers with the documents. But they could still do everything in their power to keep them from going any further than that, and exposing them to the public.

I love Fox News; I love all of the reporters on there and I hold each of them in high esteem ... You article here was ridiculous. Certainly Fox News is slanted to the right, although commonly they entertain other points of view. Geraldo and Juan Williams are two very respected journalists and they typically report from a liberal slant. The way you speak about the bible is interesting. That shows your amount of respect for the bible. Republicans did have ideas, but Democrats went behind closed doors with the insurance companies and wrote the health care bill. There was no transparency. Then when Congress voted on it, Pelosi said, "we need to hurry up and vote on this bill so that we can find out what is in it." You expect the American people to respect that? Many of us do not respect that type of legislation. While there are health care problems and I can agree on fixing many of them, you were so unwilling to take Republicans into meaningful debate and discussion to solve problems. So really, this was less of a wrongful death settlement and more of a $5 million payment to keep the 500,000 documents--damning evidence against them--from the public's hands. Anne--Can you help me understand why USST would ever provide the plaintiff's lawyers with such documents? Was this a slip up? Ann

It is way past time to put an end to the Federal Reserve Bank. It operates only for its own interest and not the interest of the United States and certainly not in the interest of the people of the United States. If they had pumped that 3.3 Trillion into the US economy it would have ended the financial crisis and in doing so it would have helped the rest of the world to weather the financial storm.
