Oh, our Florida "make money off the kids." and "defund the public schools" folks will attend in droves. If this thing has any validity, why so secret? Doubtless we will find out the agenda in bill after bill attacking Florida teachers, schools, universities, etc.
Whole Foods should use their full weight to fight GMO's as hard-line as possible, anything less feels like collusion whether traceable or not. Buying local from small producers is the way to go. Join a CSA or start a farmer's market in your area, if there isn't one already.
I know Whole Foods is very conveniently located for many and most Americans are still use to the big grocery store model. However, they are virulently anti-union and prevent smaller producers from entering or expanding their share of the market. So support smaller producers and they will eventually become more prevalent and convenient. Support workers' rights!
Bravo that you did your due diligence. We have so few corporations that work from integrity, I have been a long time whole foods supporter and yes as they grow issues may grow...but it certainly sounded not in line with what I have come to know about them. Yes I believe they are accurate in not being involved and yes I do believe Bio tech companies would do everything possible to remove any corporations voice that have the peoples need in their mind. History shows more evidence of this then the other.

I KNEW they were up to SOMETHING....they charge only TWICE as much for everything!!!
