It is a mistake to refer to what exists now as "free market" as you did in your article where you point out that the ALEC members want the "free market" to determine labor policy. What "free market" are you talking about? Since when did we have a "free market"? What we have is closer to a corporate controlled and oligarchic controlled market. The amount of abuse, fraud and collusion by the elites makes Adam Smith's fantasy of "free market forces" a joke.
Please don't fall into the trap of using the framing that our elites set for us. Call it as it is - "corporate dominated market" or "oligarchic controlled public policy".
