Historically, the claim of consensus has been the first refuge of scoundrels; it is a way to avoid debate by claiming that the matter is already settled. -- Michael Crichton

This is exactly what the carbon alarmists have done. By claiming a consensus when there is none, they violate the basic principles of scientific debate, revealing there's to be religious rather than scientific thought.

Now that the wicked cold winters and falling temperatures belie their these, the carbon alarmists are morphing "global warming" into "climate change" so we will follow their global taxation path without noting their scientific inconsistencies.

This article demonstrates that guilt by association is yet another non-scientific approach to promoting the carbon alarmist religion. That the Koch's fund groups that dare to question global warming does not mean that others should not. Many scientists and leading meteorologists think it is total crap and they deserve more respect from the "Center for Media and Democracy."

Beacause you are a public worker you deserve better than the rest of us? My sister pays 10% of her health insurance as a county worker. I am in my 3rd year of a bachelors degree, no one pays that bill, I have to. You know what if you have a job GO HOME!

We were told in the 50s that the communist party would take control of our nation from the inside out. Well, take a look at Wisconsin and all the sheeple! If you really care about the children and their education, you'd strike the blood-sucking unions and grow up and take responsibility for you own lives, instead of having taxpayers pick up the cost of your life-time salaries and benefits, even if you do a piss-poor job with the 3 Rs, but excel in teaching revisionist history and socialism 101. I so sick of whiners! These people need to get a real job and stop sucking at the public tit.

By abandoning an ad that not only helped their bruised corporate image but also had the potential for creating needed awareness about a problem impacting our kids (literally), Toyota just reinforced the impression that they seem to value profits over safety. That's sad. As for the NFL, it did not have much image to tarnish, as it has moved far too slowly on rules to curb player injuries. Only the NHL is worse.

Keep up the good fight! Stand together, don't give up, and don't give in. Stay there as long as it takes. All the unions in America are behind you and are so proud of you.
