During the Iraq war/occupation and, I suppose, Afghanistan, we gave companies like Xe hundreds of millions of dollars with which to purchase health insurance for their employees who served as mercenaries for our military. From an article I read in 2009 or 2010, AIG, acting like so many other health insurers, was denying claims or delaying claims payments to hundreds of employees who were injured or became ill while on the job in those foreign countries. Why they should be "popular" in red or any other color state, I do not know. Why they shouldn't pay what is due our government I do not know either. All your cautions about avoiding both AIG and its mortgage guarantor are 100 percent justified.

I think you're right, but please do spell-check before posting. Adds credibility to your argument.

Hey you little worm. Don't come on hear and spout conservative talking points like a little parrot.
Yeah, George Soros. Is that all you have, punk?
Conservatives have had an army of well helled sugar daddies, essentially, financing the conservative movement for the last 60 years.
Richard Scaife, the Bradley Foundation, the Olin Foundation, the Scaife Foundation, the Kochs, and many more.
These groups fund the vast network of think tanks, front groups like Americans For Prosperity, Club For Growth, and Freedomworks. They also pay to train the next generation of conservative activists through groups like Young America Foundation (YAF).
In all probability, you're one of those trained activists taught to monitor left wing sites, and put out conservative talking points. You also may be a paid flack at one of the think tanks, paid to disseminate conservative talking points.

How seriously misinformed you are. Where do you get your "news?" It sounds like it's straight from FOX's lie machine. If you'd bother to explore the facts you'd know 100% that the protests in Wisconsin are not organized by outsiders (like you, obviously, and like the right-wing pundits you traffic). Real people in Wisconsin are coming together to defend their rights from this unwarranted and outrageous attack by a extremist empty suit doing the bidding of the big money that practically bought him the office he temporarily holds. Next time, do some research and post some actual facts rather than repeating the nonsense you've been spoonfed, or I won't even bother publishing your dross. "The country," whatever that means, actually does not back stripping Americans of their right to organize, but maybe you are referring to that mythical land where Beck lives in his hate-spewing head. The U.S.A., the country I live in, protects the rights of Americans to assemble and petition their government for redress. Have you actually even read the First Amendment of our Constitution, Colleen? So, I say no thanks to your partisan hackery cheerleading. Take it some place else where you can receive an echo chamber of applause for your empty, factless assertions. Your spin is not welcome here. Lisa Graves
