Why on earth would you want to invest in the two LEAST RELIABLE renewable energy resources instead of the one that will eventually stand as THE ONLY source of energy worth using? I am speaking of course about geo-thermal electricity. It is an extremely powerful, constant and unending source of electricity and all it costs is the price of two very deep holes in the ground. Expensive, some may say? I say it's nothing compared to the cost of a nuclear reactor but they seem to have no trouble building those.

First off, let me explain. I am not nor have I ever been employed by Palermo Pizza. I am neither for or against unions. I do, however, believe everyone needs to be verified as a legal citizen. As the one person stated, he/she is not legal to be working anywhere, including Palermo. There are reasons why we have immigration laws in this country. What I find very disturbing in the FREE country, that I was born and raised in, is that some unions feel it necessary to call people nasty names because they exercise their freedoms. Just because that person doesn't want to be in a union and choses to continue working doesn't make that person a "SCAB". People have fought and died to give us the freedoms we have. Live, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. Even people choosing NOT to elect union status doesn't make them right or wrong anymore than people who chose to join unions. Name calling and brow beating are just methods of thuggery and intimidation. They violate human rights. Maybe the unions should try integrity, honesty, and openess instead of threats, name calling and intimidation. We have some pretty good unions in our area that work very hard to maintain a good working relationship with their members and employers. They come to the table with respect for each other's views, concerns and suggestions. Maybe the union thugs at Palermo could take a lesson from them.

Quoting Russ Limbo in The e-Buffet Online Magazine: "I have to ask, “Who gave the Supreme Court the authority to pen legislation for The People of The United States. Isn’t that why we elect Senators and Congressmen? We have a tried and proven method of creating and enacting new laws in the United States of America: Congress creates and votes on them and the President signs them into law. That is the process. The function of our High Court has always been to strike unjust laws not create them. Who signed this “Law”? Is it subject to Presidential Veto? If we allow this then we are allowing The Supreme Court of the United States to assume dictatorial Powers thereby circumventing the will of the people."

This is a fool's game. As in "fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." BUY LOCAL. Then you don't have to worry about labeling. If you don't know where it came from, don't buy it. We hold all the power in our wallets. Stop begging them to listen. FORCE them to listen with your pocketbook.

The awful thing about this, is is that well-meaning parents might use this option, thinking they are getting more local control over their schools. But once a school is privatized, it becomes a target. I would expect that eventually, large private-equity groups will start buying and selling Charters like they buy and sell commodities. The whole point will be to have the minimum staffing possible, keep the costs as low as possible. This will be a disaster.
