Great work ... this dog is earning its keep! When you have to resort to silly semantics & futile attempts at digging up dirt to defend yourself, you know you are in trouble.

My husband has NHL, perhaps due to Agent Orange. Apparently, Agent Orange is a prime factor in this horrible cancer, which is treatable, just not cureable. He was not dripping with this in Nam but was on the base where the government was using the poison prior to it's use in VietNam, therefore his exposure was slight in comparison to many of our afflicted military.....I am so tired of the EPA/FDA allowing various "drugs/chemicals/poisons" to be used for what seems to be a 20 year response time before knowing all the problems they can cause. It appears that the people who are not making money from either law suits or stocks and investments are the truely "concerned citizens" who are opposed to this usage in the beginning and somehow their voices are never heard! It is not for the lack of trying....just the greed of the companies, shareholders, government and finally attorneys. History will always repeat itself..if...we never learn from the past.

"First they ignore you. Then they ridicule you. And then they want to attack you and then you win." When they fall to the pressure, the people of this nation have to remove all political obligation to Pledges gagging the voices of our elected officails. This should allow Bi-partisanship to re-introduce itself to our legislative system. It would be slow going, perceived political hatred is a difficult thing to see past, especialy when the spin machine is turning up the volume. Keep up the good work CMD! Peace

The message of the beginning of this post, and of this campaign more broadly - viz., that we should support companies that have left ALEC – is deeply problematic. The reasoning seems to be, briefly, that membership in ALEC is the principal criterion of corporate malfeasance, and that corporations that abandon membership in and association with ALEC and its by-now uncontroversially malignant politics have done something positively “good”. Never mind that leaving a destructive organization that should never have been joined in the first instance, by other organizations that are themselves often deeply destructive, is hardly cause for celebrating let alone supporting the latter. “Better isn’t good if worse was terrible”.
