No, they would not be forced to wait in jail for trail, not with pretrial services. With pretrial services the accused criminal is released with help and supervision of the pretrial system. Those that are violent criminals or are a flight risk are not eligible for pretrial services, and must wait in jail for trail. This omits the need for bail bondsman and bounty hunters, which are not set up to help the criminals become functioning member of society. Instead, the bail bondsman are set up to make money off the accused criminal, which are often the poorer, weaker, and mentally ill members of society. No one deserves to sit in jail simply because they can not pay their bail, that is not justice. Pretrial services are designed to allow the criminal to be responsible and bring themselves to justice. However, the American Bail Coalition has spent millions of dollars lobbying against pretrial services, as to keep the for-profit private bail bondsmen in business through preying on the weaker class.

What do you mean "they haven't resorted to killing off school teachers ... yet"? They've been at precisely that for some good long while: http://www.thenation.com/article/where-shame-policy-inside-las-teacher-jail/

What do you call a "leader" with no followers? Just some guy walking.... Keep walking, Mr. Walker.

It's entirely our stupid voters' fault that we have the elected representatives totally bought that Americans have chosen, year after year after year. This year, Bernie Sanders stands before America as a totally honest, totally unbought leader who wants to fight everything Americans moan about hating in American politics and our economy. Yet Bernie will lose. Moronic Americans will end up actually electing either Hillary or Bush, despite all their whining. Again, our lousy government of by and for the top .01% will be re-affirmed by the dummies who always block change: the American public itself.
