After much soul searching and consultation, The Walsh Wire has determined that one term for US Congressmen is not a workable design for citizen imposed term limits. It lacks a period in office sufficient enough to be effective and fair. We remain convinced that one six year term for US Senators is the fair and the correct approach.

Henceforth, we shall encourage all of those who are considering taking The Pledge to examine our revised pledge of Six Years and Out; one term for US Senators and three terms for US Congressmen.

Six Years and Out, The Pledge:

With the recognition that there are huge numbers of intelligent, talented and qualified citizens who are prepared to limit their public service. I hereby pledge that I will not vote a second term for any United States Senator and no more three terms for any United States Congressman.

Why am I not surprised. They have their own agenda and everyone else's be damned. Several of the bloggers at Bring It On! were in attendance and they too were upset there wasn't anything on the war in Iraq. They did attend your event and were very glad they did. One of our bloggers will writeup a piece about the whole event for those of us that didn't get to attend.

I understand that bottled water is terrible for the environment! BUT, tap water has drugs in it and that really bugs me. I just DON't want anyone else's eliminated Viagra, Alli, or Prosac in my body. I think that is why we are so damn complacent as a society, too much prosac floating around. Does anyone know a way to filter it out of tap water? One kind Alternet reader made a suggestion but I didn't fully understand him. Plus he was talking about something from Brazil. I can't afford to go to Brazil just to get a water filter.

My family has been torn apart over my cousin Sarah's death. She was in Egypt when she died. I do not believe it was a car accident. Could you help me find out what happened to her? I do not know where to look or who to ask. My Aunt and Uncle are not doing well and my family is losing each other over this "accident". Any help would be great! Carol, cousin to Lt. Sarah K. Small
