  • Reply to: More Corporations Flee as ALEC Rolls Out Its Legislative Agenda   9 years 8 months ago
The Common Thread of racial and income inequality that pushed the community to a hair trigger condition before the riot was the fact that the city’s black and Latino residents were excluded from the high-paying jobs, affordable housing , educational opportunity, and politics available to white residents . The riots were also a response to Proposition 14, a constitutional amendment sponsored by the California Real Estate Association that had in effect repealed the Rumford Fair Housing Act. The proposition gained the endorsement of many large conservative political groups, including the John Birch Society (the societies founder, Fred Koch is father to the Koch Brothers) and the California Republican Assembly Ronald Reagan was a supporter of Proposition 14. In 1964 Ronald Reagan stated in a press release as "an ardent supporter of Proposition 14, and later explained, “If an individual wants to discriminate against Negroes or others in selling or renting his home, he has a right to do so.” Reagan felt fair housing laws and the Rumford Act were (Liberal) attempts " to give one segment of our population a right at the expense of the basic rights of all our citizens." he stressed the need for " voluntary action on the part of individuals" to put an end to " the cancer of racial discrimination " , in other word restrain yourself from being a bigot. by definition ALEC is Fascist in nature and is a danger to democracy in America The 1983 American Heritage Dictionary defined fascism as: "A system of government that exercises a dictatorship of the extreme right, typically through the merging of state and business leadership, together with belligerent nationalism." Fascism originated in Italy, and Mussolini claims to have invented the word itself. It was actually his ghostwriter, Giovanni Gentile, who invented it and defined it in the Encyclopedia Italiana in this way: "Fascism should more appropriately be called corporatism because it is a merger of state and corporate power."

When OBAMA was campaigning and the media said he was returning to Chicago to rest and be with family we all know he attended a secret Bilderberg meeting. How is it the media covered that up? Or when Hillary met them? You see it's not just one side or the other. Two sides of the same coin.
  • Reply to: State Farm Insurance Claims "No Fault" in Bankrolling ALEC   9 years 9 months ago
I have been a State Farm customer for many years and without a accident claim on auto liability. So with both my homeowners and auto up for renewal I switched to another insurer and a tiny bit better rate.I would have switched even if the rate was a tad higher because I refuse to use a sponsor of ALEC the American Legislative Exchange Council.
