I am continually baffled why our congress continues to work against the American public by allowing confiscation of private lands in order to satisfy the greedy oil creeps from a foreign country. There are so many corporations in our country, namely big oil, big pharma, banking and insurance. These people don't ever seem to be inclined to be a part of the public good for common sense solutions to everything happening in our lives. Their only apparent interest is to make so much money at all our expense so they can do whatever they wish. Our congress continues to support that notion plus helping our Canadian neighbors. Give us a break. This madness has to stop.

What -- In my opinion (note -- I am letting you know this is my personal view) both these posts are worthless. One defending without facts, and the other shooting them down without knowing much more.
Here is what I do know. I have been to Egg Lands web site, and they do not have a single video that shows any of their chicken raising locations. We need to pressure the large egg producers to be more transparent. They do have a section on animal welfare, but as far as I can tell, they have never been certified as "humane" for their industry (I don't even know if there is an impartial body that does this kind of service).
Bottom line - I know I need to be more engaged, more conscious about what I put into my body, and I appreciate the article (less so the comments).

Wellness visit-$240 Write rx refills $240 additional charge. You call that fair ?? Are you squirrel food ? I do agree however about the less educated CEO making so much money. Medicine has become BIG business. If there were no CEOs and you had your own business would you charge less?? I doubt it. How about charging $50 for a 15 minute office visit, code it correctly so insurance will pay, let us pay you in advance and let us send it to insurance? And dont blame malpractice premiums. Our health insurance costs more than you malpractice ins. I make 30K and my insurance costs $1000 a month. Thats one third of my income. I have a ten thousand deductable. It has to be that high or i couldnt afford the premiums.I have never even used my insurance ! You are making excuses .You are suppose to heal people not hurt them.Do you think we feel good when your bill comes? Like we go out, party, and celebrate being robbed? I dont party but I sure need a drink.
