Walker has met the enemy, and it is Truth. This reminds me of when George W. Bush stripped "To understand and protect the planet" from NASA's mission statement while trying to stop them from alerting the public about climate change. Walker must have noticed how little public outrage was voiced - let's not repeat that mistake this time.

I was leaning toward Mr. Walker as a favored candidate. Now, if he has anything to do with this secret government stuff, he will be placed at the same level of trust as Hillary Clinton. Please, hey you there, you Republicans. wake up and condemn this thing.

Rather convenient for the legislature to hide records when Scott Walker announces his bid for the white house. Sounds like they are gearing up to blindside the public again. More corruption to come, just you wait.

I just spent some time looking at the evaluation of USDE's policies for Charter School oversight and an in depth audit of sorts conducted by WestEd ( via a USDE grant) of charter school and charter school authorizers compliance with the terms of their grants. Think swiss cheese. There is no effective oversight of the terms of the grants. USDE can bail out of accountability by saying, in effect, state legislation determines the degree of oversight. After looking at the red flags that have been waved, I conclude that the people in charge of this program are committing fraud. The WestED audit points to following USDE officials and staff who should be called before Congress to justify the program and to document all of the frauds in their files since the program was initiated. The senior officials are Arne Duncan, Jim Shelton, Stefan Huh Director of the Charter School Program, Program Manager Erin Pfeltz, Leslie Hankerson and Kathryn Meeley who are program officers. The checklists for the review of proposals and for the audits show that there is no there-there on auditing performance, distributions of funds, the use of funds for their intended purposes. USDE policy specifies that these schools have "autonomy" to operate with a minimum of oversight. That is exactly what is happening with tax payer money being used as cash cow at the expense of investing in public schools. The performance of these schools is not, not, not superior to the performance of public schools and they systematically suck funds intended for public schools into management arrangements with high paid managers, extra layers of lawyers, and churn in teachers and students.

You can't be serious about "In all my years, I've NEVER seen such disrespect" unless you were born yesterday. While George W. Bush was President not a day went by that he wasn't disrespected by liberals/democrats. Most of his major accomplishments were hardly mentioned by the liberal media. The first time I heard Pres. Obama speak I was very moved by all he had to say. He sounded like a man who wanted to make this country a better place for all. Well turns out he has great speech writers, but that's it, that's all he has. He has openly lied to us, and his lies are ignored by the media. His oath of office says he is to protect our borders-he doesn't. Health care we can all afford. So many of the newly insured are on medicaid. Try and find good doctors that take medicaid. If your not on medicaid, you probably pay 20 to 25 thousand dollars a year for a family of 4 with a 5 to 10 thousand dollar co-pay. Who has that kind of money? Not the majority of us. Some of us wanted to just purchase catastrophic health care and just pay for office visits etc.. Not allowed under the Obamacare. He plays golf minutes after he announces the beheading of our citizens. His "friend" dies in Benghazi, and the next day he is off to Los Vegas. Where the heck was he during that time that his "friend" was being killed? No one seems to know. But the lies about that night and why action was not taken to help his friend is still not questioned by dems. Guess if its not your dad, son, daughter you really don't give a damn, much like Hillary. I respect people who are honest, caring people, not people who lie, get caught in those lies, and then lie to cover up those lies. Obama likes disrespecting Supreme Court Judges, police, our military, our congress, and even news media that don't worship him, so I think the disrespect goes both ways. I have never seen, in my life time. a more disrespectful president.
