According to a DOA Press Release, "Individuals interested in retrieving
signs removed from the State Capitol can do so.... Representatives from the State Historical Society will be on hand to observe, but will not remove any signs for preservation until after 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Signs remaining after the public and Historical Society have taken those they would like, will be discarded."
