The constitution does not prohibit state governments from outlawing the bribery of politicians, giving money to politicians, or outlawing the propaganda campaigns of the monied interests that cannot compete in the so-called market place of ideas. Why should the 5.6 million people who are Wisconsin be ruled by the dictates of a Bushevik and two Reaganites? Once again the supreme court of errors is also the supreme court of property bias and the supreme court of usurpation.

Once again I applaud CMD and Lisa Graves for exposing the Koch brothers, the wizzards of Oz behind the curtain of ALEC, and now applaud the NAACP for bringing ALEC before the United Nations. ALEC'S meetings by invitation only for major Corporate CEOs and federal, state and local elected officials are set up to draft policy bills out of sight of the general public and the media . The list of those invited is strictly secret. Copies of 800 of these bills were obtained from one of these meetings recently. They cover a wide spectrum laws and regulations as well as tort law and corporate law to name a few. These bills are crafted to benefit corporate America and the very rich. These attendees are so joined at the hip that ALEC should not be allowed to be tax exempt relative to the costs incurred to hold it's meetings. I'm a citizen that believes that what is being done behind closed doors in secret is nothing less than SUBVERSION of our legislative process.

I think they give prospective protégés a gun aimed at a puppy and whoever will pull the trigger gets the job.
