That's what I keep wondering. It's not as if those corps will suddenly be cured of the essential murderous greed and extractive, plundering exploitation that drive their every move.
It seems nothing would even mildly affect that except the end of the durable corporation, which should never have been allowed to evolve. Corporations were supposed to be ephemeral and completely ad hoc, a necessary evil to be closely watched and ruthlessly regulated.
Thank you Mr. Austin for laying it out the way it really is. Most people only read, hear or see what the ruling class put in front of them. What is happening in this country reminds of of Ira Levin's 1970 novel "This Perfect Day", which sounded like science fiction at the time it was written, wherein the ruling class controlled the rest of humanity in a controlled environment, until a few restless souls sought out and discovered the truth.
Walker's ambush/repeal of Equal Pay for Equal Work attacks women's access to economic, educational, and health opportunities, for themselves and their dependents. If it's not a war on women, then it's simply abuse.
Will women finally recognize that our problem is this Governor?
that is wonderful news

Just because the GOP's play dirty pool on trying to stop people from being able to vote on a regular basis does not mean the rest of society follows in their footsteps.
I am constantly amazed at how the GOP make out thet are so honest and good christians (pardon me while I laugh) they have no idea how un-christian they sound.
