Wouldn't it take two consecutive votes of the legislature passing a voter ID resolution and then a subsequent popular vote by the people to enshrine voter ID in our state constitution? The ACLU of Wisconsin also has a pending federal lawsuit to challenge the voter ID law even if the state court actions fail.
I am sure it 'alec' site was drawn up by a person who does not know the web - instance the 'press here' directions. Who in the wide web world does not know to 'press' on FB etc., icons.
The Koch Brothers already announced they are shifting gears and using other avenues to take the heat away from ALEC or at least give these corporations more " hidden " ways to stay involved.. Where are they? who are they? Is this why they are dropping from ALEC now, just to pick it up around the block?
What is happening to the investigation of the voting machines that were donated to 46 counties. So of the poling figures did not match with the counts.
I understand in Eau Claire county the votes were upload by modem and sent back to Minnesota to be counted.
Is there a paper trail for those ballot?
Or are we just to assume that god is looking over the shoulder of whoever counted them?
"The right-wing group called "Media Trackers" also ran stories hyping allegations of fraud in Wanggaard's district of Racine. A major allegation was that election officials allowed a voter to register with improper proof of residency, despite challenges from Lou D'Abbraccio, who the group identified as "an election observer working with conservative local groups." Media Trackers did not disclose that D'Abbraccio, who supporters say "can be loud as hell when he needs to be," is on the Board of the Racine County Republican Party and runs the Racine GOP poll watching program."
Did Lou D'Abbraccio also follow the voter into the booth to see how the person voted. Maybe they voted for Walker and Wanggaard.
