You do want to make your case, Don't you? You can have provided the ad (or ads?) in which multiple Wisconsinites, who didn't vote for Walker, expressed a disapproval of recall. That would have been more effective than the ad you did show with one citizen saying the same thing. It's important for the Right to re-define democracy to mean it's opposite. It's clear from the failed recall vote (from progressives' standpoint) that they are having some success on that front.
Citizens, too often, and frighteningly, think that democracy means electing someone who then must be left alone to do the job he or she is paid to do, no matter what destruction he or she unleashes.
Mr. Parker,
What is the source of your information? This is the second time I have heard of a problem with voting machines in the recall election. It would be most helpful if you could state more clearly the issues raised in your post and the source of your information, e.g.:
--donation of voting machines to 46 counties (Who is alleged to have donated the machines? Who is the manufacturer of the machines in question? Which 46 counties?)
--the polling figures "did not match the counts" (Do you mean the "exit polling" figures? By "the counts," do you mean the unofficial vote totals reported after NBC News called the election for Walker (based on exit polling)by municipalities to their county clerks?
--uploading of Eau Claire County totals by modem "back to Minnesota" (This statement appears to be based on fairly specific information, so it would be very helpful to know where the info came from, as well as clarification of the Minnesota connection.)
Thank you.
I didn't see these sore losers come out during the Bush debacle in 2000 when Tom Delay's thugs were banging on the doors of the vote counters trying to intimidate them; or the band of online thugs that stuffed Dem email boxes with garbage; or the false Palm Beach ballot that showed Pat Robertson winning in a Democratic county; or on and on and on. Talk about voter fraud, the GOP should know - they've been practicing it for years.
