May I recommend The Mammy Project at themammyproject.com * The Mammy Project written and performed by Michelle Matlock is an original work made up of a series of monologues which explores the influence that the stereotype, myth and icon of “Mammy” has had on contemporary American culture. * The Mammy Project Weaves the untold history of Nancy Green, the first African-American woman hired to play the part of ‘Aunt Jemima’ at the 1893 World’s Fair in Chicago with African-American Activist’ like Ida B. Wells, struggle to have black people represented at the very same World’s Fair. * The Mammy Project uses original music, storytelling and historical speeches by Frederick Douglas and Halle Q. Brown to transform an oppressive stereotype into a celebration of the power we gain from knowing and understanding our history. * Michelle Matlock, a character actress and physical comedienne digs deep into her own experience, imagination and American history to deliver a personal, political and entertaining exposé.

Sooner or later we will find out that there was a direct link between the secret energy policy meeting held by VP Dick Cheney and the Iraq war. This "all of a sudden" influx of Big Oil Companies to "advise" the Iraqis just before the elections is a final effort by this Administration to meet their ultimate goal in that country. So we the people and our militia provided the men and money to make this happen under the guise of a nuclear threat. I cannot understand why this isn't making greater front page news and isn't fodder for the Democrats. Is it because our desperation for lower cost oil has dampened the impact and interest allowing the Administration to "get away with it"?

The first guy appears to be a commentator, not an employee of CNN.

If you go to the YouTube page, you can see that the commentator is Allan Chernoff, and he does work for CNN:

    http://edition.cnn.com/CNN/anchors_reporters/chernoff.allan.html

Oh, wait -- you did go to the YouTube page, and you made the same mistake commenting there!

Chernoff has done some excellent work, but that statement, "Coal gasification has been in the works, it's very important, it's part of our energy future" shows CNN's bias. Those people pretty much say what CNN wants them to say, and CNN's accepting advertising money from the industry does constitute a conflict of interest.

As for the other reporter's statement, "People are split on the cleanliness of coal," that's just the obligatory nod in the direction of balance. It's worth nothing towards any prize for unbiased reporting.

If you're making the point that CNN is biased in favor of clean coal, you need more than this!

Actually, they're biased for DIRTY coal. There is no "clean coal."

I like tens of thousands of people are allergic to High Fructose Corn Syrup, which now has invaded most of our foods. That means for us: nausea, loose bowels, severe stomach cramps, and other pleasant side affects.

I just returned from two weeks in France and after the third day there experienced total lack of symptoms because in that country they do not use this pathetic ingredient in their foods.

This lasted until the second day after I returned back to the US. You may say, “Just avoid that ingredient in the foods you eat”! Look on your grocery shelves and see how difficult that is!

This promotion is to solely benefit the Cargill’s, ADM's and other corporate food giants to fatten their purses. In contrast to the statements made, HFCS does cause obesity as it is not process in the same way that natural sugars are. Remember these are the same people that promote Ethanol another corporate boondoggle.
