You are way off base. Because of health care reform, many insurance agents are now out of the business. A portion of the health care legislation establishes a MLR, Minimum Loss Ratio, demanding that at least 80% of all dollars go directly to claims. In doing so, insurers have drastically cut compensation for those marketing their products. Easiest and fastest place to cut! United Health has cut commission by more than 50% in the past year since the legislation has passed. Our company markets United products through independent health insurance reps. Our agents are earning 50 to 75% less than they did a year ago. That is one of the main reasons for soaring company profits.

Your statement about WHF never selling poisons is false - they already do but they're just not labeled as such. Many common food additives have been shown to be poisonous, such as aspartame, contributing to food allergies and in some cases child deaths, cancers (BT insecticide in all Glucose/Fructose Corn sweetener), liver and kidney damage, ADD, etc. These poisons are killing us over time, and costing a fortune in health care costs. The US which has the highest penetration of GMO's in the world also has the highest health care costs in the world. The experts who have done these studies have been discredited by the corporations, and the government, who is in the pocket of the corporations. Food & Drug regulation is controlled by Monsanto shareholders. Do your research - the corporations and government regulators do not operate in your best interest, but in the interest of profit. Make a difference with your dollars, don't buy products containing Monsanto GMO's (corn, soy, cotton, sugar beets)

Mr. Hirshberg has gone on a campaign to promote organic agriculture and farming. I think this is his way of telling monsanto to take a hike. He is right. Only by supporting organic can we fight this.

Go Michigan! Hello from the "THE BELLY OF THE BEAST!!!" This is a declaration of solidarity from Wisconsin. It is absurd what is going on in this country. I think it is important to understand that this is not new to the world. It is new to us at least those who came to be after Eisenhower's "New Deal". Also note that he was considered a hardcore republican. (I am not). Time & money have soured political parties as people have forgotten about the Civil & Labor movements, what happened & why. Political parties aside. We have spent a long time arguing amongst ourselves about unions, welfare, race, to name a few. It is clear now to us that we have everything in common. What I see is the most noticeable symptom of an economic ideology of the late Milton Friedman, a professor at the University of Chicago. This is Chile prior to September 11, 1973. Most importantly the working class needs to stick together, white & black, Union & non. Unions did not drive out GM & all the others despite what they led many to believe. We need media reform which Lisa Graves (Go Lisa!!!) is actively pursuing. We need to quit voting against ourselves!!! In the meantime don't panic, know that you have Cheeseheads across the pond in SOLIDARITY!!! Make alot of noise people!!! Organize!!! Don't let it die!!!

This initiative to expand the controversial fracking process -- which has already resulted in contaminated wells and rivers and even ignitable tap water for some. The article you wrote mentions the above but not where? I do not know a thing about fracking but I have a good nose for lobbying propoganda. I tend to believe an 82 year old billionair when he seems to be on a mission to aggravate the energy status quo establishment. His background indicates to me that he knows his stuff, he does not need the money, he is running out of time, and in seeing him perform before Congress I heard no intelligent questions coming his way. My nose smells a game changer that alot of people are not going to like.
