I would submit that the reason Texans pay higher premiums than others is due to the higher number of unisured in the state. Those without insurance are receiving health care primarily through emergency rooms, the cost of which is passed on in the form of higher insurance premiums. On average in the U.S., a family of four pays about $1,700 more per year in health insurance premiums to pay for those who go without.
There is absolutely no reason TO show a picture ID. Plus, in Indiana, the SOS is under indictment for voter fraud--registering to vote in another district from which he lives--and the picture ID law sure didn't stop him. Plus, the restrictions used to get a picture ID guarantee no homeless people can vote, and it deliberately disenfranchises students, i.e., everyone with school IDs that don't have expiration dates can't vote. Plus, it disenfranchised the nuns from St Mary's who didn't have an ID, and didn't have the ability to get one before they voted. But the SCOTUS basically said, 'we don't care. we don't have to.' Some democracy, what?
The only thing more ludicrous than Camping's prediction is that PRWatch would spend a single moment writing about it! STOP wasting your time, people. Do something useful.
you bet!
nothing with corn or soy( because it's ALL monsanto and friends - general mills for example)
No meats from warehoused animals. I get to know the people who grow my foods and meats. It's expensive, but getting sick is even more so.
I'm in my 60s and the ONLY person I know that is healthy (no matter what age) - no "personal doctor" no over counter meds - nothing. I find that pitiful, and meeting with friends is very boring because all they talk about is what the doctor said and their limitations...frankly, i'm sick of that
I am thinking ...as consumers we do have collective power, simply (.......) by not purchasing, but in this case - eating is necessary, and so the next thought approaches with force...what do you call it, when humans (animals as well) are forced to consume a poison laced food, or a poison laced air. Would that not be called a genocide? Yes, it may take decades for us to die, yet there is no time limit on the act of genocide...I don't think. One entire species does not have to die instantly to be called genocide, right?
I started to look into the factor of how many chemicals in our food supply have NOT been tested, are un-tested? There are tens of thousands of them.
We are being killed - period. I looked it up - it's called genocide.
