Daniel Price, a research consultant with the Center for Media and Democracy, is the co-author of the Fake TV News: Widespread and Undisclosed report and its follow-up, Still Not the News: Stations Overwhelmingly Fail to Disclose VNRs. In addition to numerous local radio shows, he's appeared on Democracy Now, Counterspin, NPR's Marketplace and CNN's Reliable Sources. He's been interviewed for Bloomberg News, L.A. Daily News, BMJ (British Medical Journal), PR Week, and The Capital Times among many others.

An author and media critic, he lives in Los Angeles. His debut novel "Slick"—a story of PR and media manipulation—was published by Random House in 2004. The Wilmington Star News called it "a hip, hard-wired, Net-savvy version of Upton Sinclair’s 'The Jungle,' doing for the public relations industry what the earlier book did for meat-packing."
