Laura Miller

Laura MillerPR Watch editor Laura Miller joined the Center for Media & Democracy in August 2000. She came to the center with seven years experience in journalism, having worked on WORT-FM's local evening news as a host, reporter, and producer, and serving as a writer and copy editor for the weekly Madison Times. She has been an on-air voice for Workers' Independent News, a nationally syndicated radio news service. In addition to her involvement with independent media, Laura has worked as an organizer for the Teaching Assistants' Association at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and as a video store clerk. She blogs about poetry, squirrels and living in the midwest at Miller's Crossing. Born in 1970, she lives in a nice yellow house in Madison.
