Seven states held congressional primaries for a total of six Senate and 70 House seats this Tuesday. We've got the results of the congressional primaries in Alabama [3], Iowa [4], Montana [5], New Mexico [6], New Jersey [7] and South Dakota [8], thanks to the citizen journalists posting information to the candidate profiles in Congresspedia's Wiki the Vote [9] project.

New Mexico definitely had the most interesting race as two current Republican representatives and one Democratic representative vie for the seat of retiring Sen. Pete Domenici [10], but this is an especially turbulent election and nearly every seat is being contested, so they're all worth a look.

Here are the victors of Tuesday's primaries:
Alabama [3]

• Sen. Jeff Sessions [12] (R) is being challenged by state Sen. Vivian Figures [13] (D).
• In the 1st district, incumbent Rep. Jo Bonner [14] (R) is running against Thomas Fuller [15] (D). Fuller’s background eludes our citizen-journalist’s best work, so if you have information on his background we could really use you’re help.
• In the 2nd district, incumbent Rep. Terry Everett [16] (R) has announced he won’t seek reelection. Two Republican candidates will be in a special election July 15: Jay Love [17] and Harri Anne Smith [18], both state legislators. The Democrats nominated Montgomery mayor Bobby Bright [19].
• In the 3rd district, Republican Mike Rogers [20] is being challenged by Joshua Segall [21] (D).
• In the 4th district, Rep. Robert Aderholt [22] (R) will face Democratic challenger Nicholas Sparks [23], a physician.
• In the 5th district, incumbent Bud Cramer [24], a Democrat, has announced his resignation. Republicans Wayne Parker [25] and Cheryl Guthrie [26] will square off in a runoff election July 15th, for the opportunity to face Democrat Parker Griffith [27]. Guthrie is a practicing attorney; Parker, a vice president for an insurance firm; and Griffith is a state senator.
• In the 6th district, Rep. Spencer Bachus [28] (R) does not face opposition in his re-election bid.
• In the 7th district, Rep. Artur Davis [29] (D) is unopposed in his re-election bid.

Iowa [4]

• Sen. Tim Johnson [30] (D) will face Republican victor Christopher Reed [31], a small-business owner.
• In the 1st district, incumbent Rep. Bruce Braley [32] (D) faces Republican David Hartsuch [33], a state senator and physician.
• In the 2nd district, incumbent Rep. Dave Loebsack [34], a Democrat, is being challenged by Mariannette Miller-Meeks [35] (R), associate examiner for the American Board of Ophthalmology.
• In the 3rd district, Democratic incumbent Rep. Leonard Boswell [36] is running against Kim Schmett [37] (R), veteran and former congressional staffer.
• In the 4th district, Republican incumbent Rep. Tom Latham [38] will face Becky Greenwald [39] (D), who works in the Iowa’s agriculture industry.
• In the 5th district, incumbent Rep. Steve King [40] (R) is running against the Democratic nominee, Rob Hubler [41], a Navy veteran ad former Presbyterian minister.

Montana [5]

• Sen. Max Baucus [42] (D) will face Republican victor Bob Kelleher [43], a business owner.
• In the at large district, incumbent Rep. Dennis Rehberg [44], a Republican, is being challenged by John Driscoll [45], a former state representative.

New Jersey [7]

• Sen. Frank R. Lautenberg [46] (D) fought off a primary challenge and will run against Republican Dick Zimmer [47], a former Congressman.
• In the 1st district, incumbent Rep. Rob Andrews [48] (R) lost a primary race for the U.S. Senate, and will vacate his seat at the end of the 100th Congress. His wife, Camille Andrews [49], won the Democratic nomination to replace him, and will face Dale Glading [50] (R), who founded a prison ministry service.
• In the 2nd district, incumbent Rep. Frank LoBiondo [51] is being challenged by Dave Kurkowski [52] (R), who owns a market research firm in Moorestown.
• In the 3rd district, Republican incumbent Rep. Jim Saxton [53] is retiring; Medford Mayor Chris Mayers [54] won the GOP nod for the seat, while John Adler [55], a state senator, is running as a Democrat.
• In the 4th district, Democratic incumbent Rep. Chris Smith [56] is challenged by John Zietz [57] (D), a university professor.
• In the 5th district, incumbent Rep. Scott Garret [58] (R) is will face Democrat Dennis Shulman [59] , who founded the National Institute for the Psychotherapies’ contemporary psychoanalysis at program.
• In the 6th district, Democratic incumbent Rep. Frank Pallone [60] is up against Robert McLeod [61] (R), a former municipal court judge.
• In the 7th district, incumbent Rep. Mike Fergusen [62] (D) is retiring. Two members of the state Legislature are seeking his seat: Lisa Stender [63] (D), vice-chair of the Rransportation and Public Works Committee, and Republican Leonard Lance [64], state Senate minority leader.
• In the 8th district, Democratic incumbent Rep. Bill Pascrell [65] will run against Roland Straten [66] (R), a former business owner.
• In the 9th district, incumbent Rep. Steve Rothman [67] (D) is squaring off against Vincent Micco [68] (R), an Iraq War veteran.
• In the 10th district, incumbent Rep. Donald M. Payne [69], a Democrat, is running unopposed.
• In the 11th district, incumbent Rep. Rodney Frelinghuysen [70] (D) is heading up against Tom Wyka [71] (R), a project manager.
• In the 12th district, Democratic incumbent Rep. Rush Holt [72] faces Alan Batemen [73] (R), deputy mayor of Holmdel Township.
• In the 13th district, incumbent Rep. Albio Sires [74] (D) will try to fend off Joseph Turula [75] (R), an attorney.

New Mexico [6]

• Sen. Pete Domenici [10] (R) is retiring at the end of his term. Two of New Mexico’s three House members are seeking the seat: Republican Rep. Steve Pearce [76] and Democrat Tom Udall [77].
• In the 1st district, incumbent Rep. Heather Wilson [78] (R) Lost a primary race for the U.S. Senate, and will vacate her seat at the end of the year. Darren White [79], a county sheriff for Albuquerque, is running against Martin Heinrich [80], who founded a public affairs consulting firm.
• In the 2nd district, incumbent Rep. Steve Pearce [76] is running for Senate. Democrat Harry Teague [81], who owns an oil fields services building, will face Ed Tinsley [82] (R), a restaurateur and small-business owner.
• In the 3rd district, Democratic incumbent Rep. Tom Udall [77] is running for Senate. Public Regulation Commissioner Ben Lujan [83] (D) is is heading up against Dan East [84] (R), a building contractor.

South Dakota [8]

• For the Senate seat, Democratic incumbent Rep. Tim Johnson [30] will face Joel Dykstra [85] (R), a state legislator.
• In the at-large district, incumbent Rep. Stephanie Herseth Sandlin [86] (D) is running against the Democratic nominee, Chris Lien [87], a division president for his father's company.
