Let's see, in the U.S. around 60% of the population doesn't own a gun or guns. Among the 40% that does own guns, some percentage only owns guns for hunting or target shooting, and when they aren't engaged in those activities, their guns are safely locked away in their homes. So, there's some percentage of Americans who just love to proclaim that everyone else is cowardly, while they are the ones who are so scared all the time that they quiver at the thought of not having a gun on them whether in their house or out on the street. So, who, exactly, is it that makes up that "Nation of cowards"--the minority of Americans who are so scared of everything that they cling to their need for a lethal weapon in the face of all reason or the majority of folks who quietly go about their lives without being such scaredy cats that they think they need to carry? It's just too bad that your little fantasy about who is cowardly and who isn't leads to things like the killing of Trayvon Martin and others.

Theresa A. Flores is the contact to question why funds are being sent from Mary Kay. Government Relations | Mary Kay Inc. | 16251 Dallas Parkway | Dallas, TX 75001 | 972.687.4054 I love Mary Kay products but know too many teachers who would not buy or sell Mary Kay if they knew the real "behind the scenes deals and legislation being written to harm public schools and their jobs".

ISN'T IT TIME THEY STOP, THE RIGHT WINGERS. WE ARE ALL PAYING. I AM NOT GETTING ANYTHING OUT OF THIS EXCEPT FOR MORE OF MY MONEY GOING TO THIS GROUP. PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW MORE. VERY DECEIVING FOR WHAT THEY STAND FOR. I AM TIRED OF BEING SUCKED DRY WITH THEM TAKING MY MONEY, WITH ENDLESS SURFEES AND SURCHARGES. COMPANIES CAN ONLY TELL ME, ITS THE GOVERNMENT. THEY ARE RICH ENOUGH LET ALONE TAKE MORE FROM US. IN EVERY ASPECT OF LIFE. EVEN OUR GROCERIES. QUITE EVIL IF YOU ASK ME. THEN TO SEE IT HAS BEEN GOING ON SINCE THE 1970'S. SICKNING TO KNOW THIS IS GOING ON. THE RIGHT WINGERS. I AM TIRED OF BEING POOR AND FOR YOU TO TAKE. SHAME ON YOU. YOU DO NOT CARE. YOU NEED TO BE MORE EXPOSED.

The organization called ALEC has actively fostered the spread of  "STAND YOUR GROUND" laws to many states. These are the very same laws that led to the Trayvon Martin murder in Florida....laws that “allow” vigilantes to be judge-jury-and-executioner. We need to bring some good out of this terrible tragedy. We need to prevent MORE of these senseless killings. Some mainstream corporations have funded ALEC. BUT... as their funding has been publicized, they have withdrawn their support. Call or write or email the following two ALEC supporters: JOHNSON and JOHNSON, & STATE FARM insurance ....or.. visit www.pfaw.org/ditchALEC. Please urge these two companies to their cut ties with ALEC. Tell them that they should not want their brands associated with the dangerous laws ALEC promotes -- including voter suppression, NRA-backed “stand your ground” laws, extreme racial profiling laws targeting immigrants, privatizing public education and protecting corporate polluters. If you do not want YOUR hard earned money to be used AGAINST your best interests, then Stand YOUR Ground and tell State Farm & Johnson and Johnson, in no uncertain terms: DON’T FUND ALEC!

Corporations support ALEC, and my state senator (Alberta Darling WI-R) even bills the taxpayers for her yearly dues. And gets campaign contributions from corporations who are members. What is it about bribes do we not understand?
