Jeffrey Julin is offering himself for interviews as "a recognized expert in communications ethics."

I'd love to see him on, say, The NewsHour if they'd put John Stauber on with him.

I object to the ongoing military recuiting that is allowed at our local (Westlake, Ohio) elementary schools. To have my son and daughter receive regular mailings from various branches of the military to encourage them to contact the local recruiting office is objectionable for children of elementary school age. My kids also return from their schools' "career day" -- where they are introduced to various professions -- talking about the "fun" presentations by various representatives of the U.S. armed forces. Why is this allowed? What can we do about it?

Interesting read...there is no doubt a positive repercussion resulting in the big 4 of '05. My service personally, has been affected... As a nationwide mobilizer of mobile shower trailers and other mobile sanitation solutions...we work with FEMA and the Red Cross in providing disaster relief solutions that are cost effective...allowing money to be distributed for citizens, and not lining the pockets of mr. good ole boy.

I found this excerpt tremendously informative. I understand firewall feeding firsthand, and let me add that this is still ongoing, never will stop because it is cost effective. I related to the last excerpt personally...I am no longer in the biz, but we can all never really let things go and leave them behind.

It's really disgusting and criminal what Chevron and Shell have caused in the Niger delta. What was once a natural paradise and a great tourist place is now one of the most polluted places on earth, an environment where people get sick and many children die prematurely. If there is a criminal in this region it is Chevron and Shell. The natives just fight a desperate battle for survival.
